For the lime wire users out there I have the scripts finally and figured out how to use them. For my friends who want a copy email me personally but if anyone needs help with any shortcuts I have it down to a sense so here is a place for you to ask questions.

well, i should really download that.

i've heard it's better than soul seek, and that's what i use at the moment.

if you can send me the scripts, thank you

and, could you give me an outline of the shortcuts?

I might be interested in that myself. Soulseek won't let me do anything due to the fact that I have a router and I can't figure out how to configure it to work with the program, and winmx doesn't appear to have scripts for Jaws 7.0. Where would I find the program as well as the scripts for it?

People never believe what you tell you. The scripts worked and everything. I installed it and all. Then when I turned my computer ;ast night and went in today it did not work. If you fo to the jawslite list there is an extensive discusion going on right now.

Post 7 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Wednesday, 13-Sep-2006 1:17:10

so where to you get the scripts?

Post 8 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 13-Sep-2006 9:39:44

and what's jaws light?

Post 9 by ezziejc (The Bathroom Skyper!) on Friday, 15-Sep-2006 6:50:21

aww I really need those. as for winMX, the same scripts that were built for jaws 5 do the same job with seven. a lot of them are interoperable so lng as you don't use jaws 6 scripts with 5 i wouldn't of thought.
bTW, there are two main websites I use for scripts.
www.jfwlite.com - which won't be updated any moore, and www.whitestick.co.uk. they are both great websites for scripts and programs

Wear can I get the limeWire scripts? And what versions does it work with?

Post 13 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Saturday, 04-Nov-2006 6:38:51

be careful with limewire - it's full of viruses.

Plus, should the cl's really be letting posts that are effectively advertising software that is illegal stay on the boards?

Post 14 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Saturday, 04-Nov-2006 13:54:29

it's not illegal. we're talking about lime wire pro in witch you pay for! there you go.

Post 15 by Brooke (I just keep on posting!) on Wednesday, 08-Nov-2006 23:56:36

I've heard that LimeWire comes with a ton of spyware and is loaded with viruses.

I owuldn't use it if I were you. It does fcontain a lot fof spyware, and it is being tracked. If you download any software that is copyrighted with it, it oculd cause trouble. However, if you wanted a program for something easier, you should use bearshare.

Post 21 by Unreleased Secrets (Zone BBS Addict) on Friday, 01-Jun-2007 13:25:26

I use ares, it has a lot of good music. I can find 90% of the stuff I want there. Oh, and it's very accessible. The only problem comes when switching tabs that you have to use the jaws cursor. you can get it from
http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net
Although that's the new version. The old version seems to be more accessible with jaws. if anyone needs the old version just send me a pm.

you'll all missing out on a really kick ass file sharing client. no spyware, easy to use, can find just about anything. It may take a while for it to download, but you can find anything, and I do mean anything but... it's my secret. :P

I downloaded lime wire and found that it didn't work with window eyes and every time I tried to access it I got the setup dialog. So finally I just said the hell with lime wire and removed it.

To add to the people who don't like Lymewire, I just recently learned from a person who added me to his messenger contacts that that was where he got my address from. Apparently, it got that information and I'm guessing passed it along or made it available to other people. I may have made the mistake of putting that address down as my email/contact address, but I really did not know it would do that. (It was like around at least a year or more ago that I had it.) Thank God that was the only address it got to affect and that I I had uninstalled it just days after I got it.

It was one of my old MSN ones by the way. Forgot to mention that.
